Statistics

Statistics shows what your shop sold over a period: your orders, your average order value, your buyers, and your sales broken down by product, country, grade, payment method, order status and discount code. It is a read-only screen — nothing you do here changes an order. Open Statistics in the main menu, right after Dashboard; each card of the overview then opens the full report behind it.

See your sales at a glance

  1. Open the main menu and click Statistics. The screen opens on the last 30 days.
  2. Read the Key figures card: Orders, Average order value, Buyers and Refund rate. Under Buyers, the Returning count shows the buyers who had already bought before the period.
  3. Read the Sales chart below: one bar per day, each split by country, with the countries past the first fourteen grouped under Other.
  4. Click a bar to see that day's order count next to Orders, in the top-right corner of the card; click it again to go back to the whole period.

Below the chart, six cards summarise the period: Top products, Sales by country, Sales by grade, Payment methods, Orders by status and Discount codes. Each lists its first ten rows, then Other and a Total.

Note — A sale is an order that still stands: paid, preparing, shipped or delivered. Pending, canceled and refunded orders are not sales; only Orders by status lists them. Click How these figures are counted at the bottom of the screen for the full rule.

Choose the period you look at

  1. On the Key figures card (or at the top of any report), click the date button in the top-right corner.
  2. In the calendar, click the first day, then the last day of the period. Use the arrows to move between months.
  3. Click Apply.

The page reloads and every figure, chart and card follows the new period. To return to the default, open the calendar again and click Last 30 days. When you open a report from a card, it keeps the same period.

Note — Days run from 00:00 to 24:00 UTC, and a period covers at most 400 days. Over 62 days, the chart shows one bar per week instead of one per day.

Tip — To compare two periods, apply the first and note its Key figures, then apply the second.

Find your best-selling products

  1. Open Statistics and, on the Top products card, click View report.
  2. Read the chart: each bar is split between the fourteen products sold most and Other, with the total quantity next to Quantity, in the top-right corner of the card.
  3. In the table, read each Product with its Quantity, its Share of the items sold and its Sales. Products are ranked by quantity, then by sales.
  4. Click Next or Previous to move through the list, 50 products a page.

Click a product's name to open it in your catalog, or click View products on the overview card to go to the product list.

Note — Product sales are counted before shipping and order discounts, so their total can be lower than the total of the Countries tab. A product renamed or deleted since keeps its row under the name the order recorded.

See your sales by country

  1. Open Statistics and, on the Sales by country card, click View report.
  2. Read the chart of sales per day, split by country.
  3. In the table, read each Country with its Status, its Orders, its Sales and its Share. Countries are ranked by sales.

The country of a sale is the storefront it was placed on, otherwise its delivery country; a sale with neither is listed as Not provided. Click View countries on the overview card to manage the countries your shop sells in.

Check your orders by status and payment method

Orders by status counts every order of the period, whatever became of it; Payment methods shows how your sales were paid.

  1. Open Statistics and, on the Orders by status card, click View report.
  2. Read each Status with its Orders, its Share and its Amount.
  3. Go back to the overview and, on the Payment methods card, click View report.
  4. Read each Payment method with its Status, its Payments, the Amount collected and its Share.

To act on an order or a payment, click View orders or View payment methods on the matching card, or open Orders.

Note — A sale paid in several payments counts each of them in Payments.

Follow your discount codes and grades

  1. Open Statistics and, on the Discount codes card, click View report.
  2. Read each Code with its Orders, its Share and the Discount given. Click a code to open its voucher.
  3. Go back to the overview and, on the Sales by grade card, click View report.
  4. Read each Grade — from New and Like new to Poor condition — with its Items, its Share and its Sales.

A discount given without a code is listed as Not provided. When a period has no data, a report shows Nothing to show for this period.
