Shop identity

Your shop's identity is everything your customers read about you: its name and tagline, its logos, how to reach you and where to follow you. You can change any of it at any time from the Identity screen, and the change is shown across your storefront. Beyond the main contact, you can add a secondary contact and choose, country by country, which email and phone number your storefront shows.

Each task below starts from the same place: open the main menu and, under Store builder, click Identity. The Shop identity screen opens on its Overview tab, with its Visual identity and Contact tabs next to it.

Change the shop's name and tagline

  1. On the Overview tab, in the Identity card, click Edit.
  2. In Store name, change the name of your shop. This field is required.
  3. In Tagline, change the short phrase that sums up your shop.
  4. Click Save.

The message Store identity saved. appears, and the Identity card shows your new Brand name and Tagline.

Note — If Store name is empty, the message The store name is required. appears and nothing is saved.

Change your logos and images

  1. Click the Visual identity tab. The Logos card shows each image and tells you whether All images have been configured.
  2. Click Edit the images. The Images screen opens.
  3. If the new picture is not in your library yet, click Send a new image, add your file in the panel that opens, then close the panel.
  4. Open the field you want to change — Rectangular logo, Centered rectangular logo, Square logo, Favicon, Sharing image or Image for products without a photo — and choose the new picture.
  5. Click Save.

The message Images saved. appears and your storefront uses the new pictures.

Note — Rectangular logo, Square logo, Favicon and Sharing image are required. If one is missing, the message Please choose an image for every required slot. appears and nothing is saved.

Change your main contact details

Your primary contact is the email and phone number your customers use to reach you. The email is required: your legal notice, terms and other legal pages must name one.

  1. Click the Contact tab.
  2. In the Primary contact card, click Edit. The Contact details screen opens.
  3. In Contact email, enter the email address your customers can write to.
  4. In Contact phone, check the country code, then enter your phone number.
  5. Click Save.

The message Contact details saved. appears.

Tip — A new email or phone number shows Not verified. Click Start the verification next to it, click Next to receive a code, then enter it in Code and click Next again. Once confirmed, it shows Verified — the proof that your customers' messages reach you.

Add a secondary contact

A secondary contact is a second email and phone number, shown only in the countries you assign it to.

  1. Click the Contact tab.
  2. In the Secondary contact card, click Edit.
  3. In Contact email and Contact phone, enter the second email address and phone number. Both are optional.
  4. Click Save.

The message Contact details saved. appears. The secondary contact is not shown anywhere until you assign it to a country (see the next task).

Choose the contact shown in each country

  1. Click the Contact tab and scroll to the Contact by country table. It lists every country your shop sells to, with the Email and Phone each one shows.
  2. On the row of the country, click Edit.
  3. In Email shown, choose Primary contact or Secondary contact.
  4. In Phone shown, choose Primary contact, Secondary contact or Do not show.
  5. Click Save.

The message Contact saved for this country. appears. That country's storefront now shows this email and phone number wherever it names its contact, such as the footer and the help center.

Note — The Secondary contact option can only be chosen once the secondary contact holds a value for that field. If the table says No active country, activate the countries you sell to first, from Publication — see Help center and going live.

Update your social networks

  1. On the Overview tab, in the Social networks card, click Edit.
  2. In each field you use — Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok or Pinterest — paste the full address of your profile, for example https://facebook.com/yourshop.
  3. To remove a network from your shop, empty its field.
  4. Click Save.

The message Social networks saved. appears. Only the networks whose field is filled in are shown on your shop.
