Carts

A cart is recorded as soon as a shopper reaches the payment step of your shop. It is Finalized once the payment has gone through and the order has been created, and stays Not finalized otherwise. From Carts, you follow your conversion rate, look into any cart, email shoppers who left without paying, and export your carts as spreadsheet files. Carts is under Orders & logistics in the main menu. Carts are written by your shop only: there is nothing to create or edit by hand.

Follow your cart conversion

  1. Open the main menu and, under Orders & logistics, click Carts. The Overview tab opens.
  2. To change the period, use the date picker at the top right of the Carts card (Today by default), then click Apply.
  3. Read the four figures: Carts, Finalized carts, Cart conversion rate and Value of unfinished carts.

The conversion rate is the share of the period's carts that were finalized. The value of unfinished carts is converted into your shop's currency. Under the card, Latest carts lists the ten most recent carts, whatever the period.

Find a cart

  1. Open Carts and click the All carts tab. The newest carts come first.
  2. To narrow the list, choose Finalized or Not finalized in the All statuses list, or switch the sort to Oldest first.
  3. To look for a precise cart, click the Search tab, type a cart number, a customer name or email, or an order reference in Search by cart, customer or order, then click Search.
  4. Click Detail at the end of the cart's row.

The cart's page opens. If nothing comes up, the message No cart matches your search. appears.

See what a cart holds

The cart's page gathers three cards, all read-only.

  1. Open the cart from the All carts or Search tab.
  2. On the Cart card, read its Reference, Status, Customer, Date and Last update. Reminder sent shows when the abandoned cart reminder went out.
  3. On the Amounts card, read the Number of items, Products, Delivery and Total the shopper was quoted.
  4. On the Products card, check each product with the condition it was chosen in (New, Like new, Very good condition, Good condition or Poor condition), its quantity and price.
  5. Click Open the order to go to the order a finalized cart became, or Open the customer to see the shopper's record.

Note — Order and Finalized on stay empty until the cart is paid. See Orders and returns.

Send an abandoned cart reminder

The reminder is one email to a shopper who reached the payment step without paying, with a link that puts their cart back in place. It is off until you switch it on.

  1. Open Carts and click the Settings tab.
  2. On the Abandoned cart reminder card, click Edit.
  3. Set Reminder to Activated.
  4. In Send after, choose the wait: 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours or 24 hours.
  5. In Voucher in the email, choose No voucher, An existing voucher (then pick it in Voucher), or A new code for each email (then enter the Amount).
  6. Click Save.

The message Settings saved. appears. The card shows the new settings, the Reminders sent in the last 30 days and the Carts finalized after a reminder. To stop the emails, set Reminder to Deactivated.

Note — The reminder goes out once per cart, only for carts left within the last two days, and never twice in the same week to the same address. A shopper who has ordered since gets nothing. Only vouchers with a public code can be picked; see Vouchers.

Note — With A new code for each email, each email gets its own code, created in your vouchers under « RECART » and the market: one use, valid until the end of the second day after the email, in the shopper's currency.

Show or hide the Continue as guest button

The cart can show signed-out shoppers a button to continue as a guest.

  1. Open Carts and click the Settings tab.
  2. On the Continue as guest button card, check whether the button is on for each cart section of your shop.
  3. Click Edit to open the cart section's editor, and switch the button there.

This setting only shows or hides the button. See Pages and sections.

Export your carts

  1. Open Carts and click the Export tab.
  2. Click Export carts.
  3. In File, choose Cart file (one row per cart) or Cart lines (one row per product in a cart).
  4. In Period, choose a period, or Custom dates and fill in From and To. All carts keeps every day.
  5. In Cart status, keep All statuses or choose Finalized or Not finalized.
  6. Click Export.

The file downloads as soon as it is ready, and the export is added to Latest exports. If no cart fits, the message No cart matches this period and this status. appears.

Note — The file itself is not kept. Download on a past export rebuilds it with the same filters, from the carts as they stand now.
